Vouchers
Not a coupon code. A numbered thing .
A voucher on Bullmark is one real row with its own serial, its own redeem code and its own QR — sealed the moment it is created. Issue a hundred and a hundred things exist.
Why a row and not a code
A shared coupon code is a promise you cannot count. You do not know who is holding it, how many are out, whether it has leaked, or which of your marketers actually earned the sale — and once it is out, you cannot find out.
Issuing on Bullmark does not write a number on a listing. It writes one row per voucher. Because each one is its own object, the questions above all have answers: this voucher, held by this person, worth this much, expiring on this date, used or not used.
What is inside the seal
Who holds it, what it is worth, when it expires, its serial number, and whether it has already been used. Change any of those in the database and the hash stops matching the anchor held at Axowl. It is a chain, so quietly fixing one row is not available either.
It cannot change hands quietly
The holder is inside the seal, so passing a voucher on is not an edit. The giver's copy is closed and sealed shut, the receiver is issued their own, and both halves stay in the record carrying the same serial number.
Anyone can check it
Scanning a voucher compares two independent systems — Bullmark's record and Axowl's anchor. The answer does not come from our database asking you to trust it. How the sealing works →
It is bought with credit, not cash
Vouchers are issued out of Brand Credit, never minted directly with cash. That is what keeps the chain one-directional and auditable. What is Brand Credit →
One shelf, two windows
A voucher can be redeemed at the brand, or listed on the marketplace for someone else to take. There is only one shelf, and the only thing that decides which window you are standing at is how many you take .
Wholesale
Lots of 10 — 10, 20, 30, never 7. Open to registered companies. The discount runs 20–50% off your consumer price, and the issuance form suggests 40%.
Retail
Singles: 1–9 at a time, open to anyone signed in. The price is the voucher's own retail discount — the same number printed on its face, which starts at 10%.
A single is never cheaper than a lot
The retail discount must sit below wholesale, and both doors enforce it. Otherwise taking one could beat taking ten, which is not a wholesale price — it is a retail price with extra steps.
The limits, exactly
These are what the API enforces. They are here so you meet them now, rather than at the moment you are trying to issue.
Vouchers per issuance
Issue again to go further. Each one is a real row and a real lock on credit.
$500
Minimum listing
Of vouchers at consumer price — vouchers × price.
90 days
Shortest validity
Longer is yours to choose. Shorter is not a voucher, it is a deadline.
15 min
Redemption window
A ticket covers one checkout. While it is open the voucher is locked, so it is deliberately short.
